The 6' 2" Hoggard is a right arm fast-medium bowler and right-handed batsman. He will play for Leicestershire in the 2010 English county cricket season after leaving Yorkshire at the end of the 2009 season, after playing for the club for thirteen years. He was first selected for the England cricket team in 2000, playing both Test cricket and One Day International cricket.
